Necro’s second leak “Set It” from his upcoming album DIE! has leaked today!!! Just one week after Necro leaked “asBESTos”, “Set It” has a whole different feel from the “asBESTos” leak.

DIE! is the emcee’s vision of hip-hop back from the dead. “Like Nas said, hip-hop is dead,” says Necro explaining the underlying theme behind the album’s artwork and title. “Well if it died, then I am what it would be if it came back to life.” With initial buzz brewing around the project thanks to the highly controversial video for the album’s first single, “The Human Traffic King (White Slavery Pt. 2),” the album also includes forthcoming singles “The Kink Panther” and “Sorcerer of Death’s Construction,” with videos already in production.

Necro leaks asBESTos

Necro leaks “asBESTos” a new track from his new album DIE! scheduled to drop May 18th on his own label Psycho+Logical-Records!!!

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

The first leak “asBESTos” from his forthcoming sixth album, DIE!, finds Necro taking listeners on another ride through the darkest side of hip-hop’s rugged terrain where drum hits and calculated flows brutally assault the ears to mind-numbingly pleasant results. Connoisseurs can’t help but listen to Necro and reminisce about the days when an emcee’s worth was only as good as his words. Necro describes the track as “a go for the throat, brutal and epic” record. This is no understatement, as the Brooklyn anti-hero manages to morph flows effortlessly, bobbing and weaving through piano stabs and the threat of soaring strings. This is not hip-hop for the faint of heart.

Cop Necro’s last joint “Death Rap” or DIE!

Uncle Howie Tenenbaum Dies

March 29, 2010 by Jason · 2 Comments

Fans of Non Phixion, Ill Bill and Necro are likely familiar with Howard Tenenbaum. Uncle to both Necro and Bill, “Uncle Howie” became known as an affiliate of ’90s and early ’00s Brooklyn hardcore Hip Hop quartet Non Phixion, as well as an official mascot/spokesman to Bill’s Uncle Howie Recordings label.

Throughout many releases in the camps, Howie appeared on interludes, commercials, webisodes and DVDs. Late last week, Bill confirmed through Twitter (@IllBill1972) that his uncle had passed away. “Uncle Howie RIP – Rest in power my G”

“I’m so gonna miss this crazy maniac fuck! UNCLE HOWIE RIP LEGENDS NEVER DIE” he added hours later.

The cause of death is unclear, though Howie had reportedly been sick for some time.

My condolences to the entire Non-Phixon crew, Ill Bill, Necro & the rest of Uncle Howies fam…. R.I.P. you will be missed my man!!!!
